Celebrating 300 years of Chianti Classico wine 🍷: 1716 September 25th & today 🍷2016

Yesterday I was strolling in the Florence city center & I’ve heard a drum sound …so I stopped: I thought it was like being in another century … then I saw a police woman on a horse & lots of people standing at the border of the Calzaiuoli street that leads to Piazza della Signoria where the city hall is…& then I saw a entire carriage with cows filled with CHIANTI RUFINA WINE!

So I remembered 🙃🙂🤗 : they are celebrating 300 years of CHIANTI CLASSICO , in fact …in 1716- exactly September 25th ! – the grand duke Cosimo III dè Medici decided to write down a sort of declaration with strict rules to definy precisely the boundaries of the Chianti area to preserve the abuse of others to call Chianti any kind of wine!

So…let’scelebrate this anniversary with lots of wine & joy as Tuscan people can do so well👏🍷🍷🍷😄😄😄
